Today I gave my testimony, and it was actually kind of fun. Dianne played "Faithful One" on the piano for me, and Julie prayed for me. Later, we learned about PNG history and geography, and went swimming in the afternoon. For some reason, today I was more determined to learn to swim with my face in than ever before. I think it helped that I had goggles that actually worked this time, and with contacts in too, I could see underwater. Ginny Tomlinson and Maggie, an older lady, were helping me, and that was a real blessing. I really like the Tomlinsons and enjoy their company . I pray tonight that the cold I have will go away - hopefully the chicken soup we had for dinner will help! Tonight we also ate pumpkin soup, which was really good. Tonight, I get to go to sleep early - I'd like to go on a walk in the morning. I'm a little unsure about village living next week - but Ginny and all the Discovery women will be there, plus the Latin team women. Lord Jesus, please be with us all tonight and protect us from disease and physical harm. Please give me strength to go on and be a blessing to others. Please help me love others more like you do, Lord. Please help me sleep well tonight and recover from my cold. In Jesus' name, Amen.
