Outside Nobnob churchWe went to the Nobnob Lotu (Lutheran) church on the top of the mountain for worship service this morning. As we approached, we could hear people singing and playing guitar. The singing was beautiful - mostly in Tok Pisin. They had two guitars which were passed around to different people. Mostly, the women sat on the right, and the men sat on the left. It was hard to concentrate on the service because there were a lot of kids running around and people talking. The service was very liturgical - and all in Tok Pisin. Some people had Bibles, others didn't. The scripture reading was from Luke 7:1-10, and some people from the choir(?) acted out the story. Galahid, a friend of my friends the VanDorens, sat in the row right behind us 
. Another woman two rows behind us was nursing her pikinini man (baby boy) at the beginning of the service. This afternoon, we went to the beach at Jai Sabin and people went snorkeling. Tonight we had our own worship/testimony time as well. Aftwerwards, we got talking about spiritual warfare and we prayed. God is so much greater and worthy to be praised than any power or principality! Fear the LORD your God and serve Him only.
